Horsemanship Lesson for tweens and teens

Service Description

I am excited to be offering individualized age appropriate horsemanship lessons for children ages 9 through 17 in Petaluma this summer. Combining my psychology degree with my passion for horses, I create an individualized wholistic program incorporating horsemanship lessons with mindfulness coaching. In addition to horsemanship skills including handling, grooming, training, and riding horses I teach life skills such as communication, emotional regulation, problem solving and accountability. Working one on one with my therapy horses builds self esteem, increases empathy, enhances focus, teaches healthy communication and creates independence in children and teenagers.
